Realizing her biological clock is ticking, unapologetic fifth-grade teacher and stand-up comedian GL Douglas is desperate to find a companion before it is too late. Easily derailed by the prospect of meeting her "till death do us part," GL fails to see that her methods are quickly transitioning into madness.

GL's humorous problems escalate into over-the-top schemes and ill-considered attempts to find true love, with the help of her BWG (best white girlfriend) as well as her reluctant manager. In her wacky search for Mr. Right, G.L. enlists the aid of her fifth-grade pupils, the proprietor of her favorite comedy club, and a waitress at the club. Where will her man hunt mischiefs lead her, only GL knows!
